Steel Halo Downloads

You've got a few choices regarding which Steel Halo pack you want to download. If this is the first time you're downloading the game, you should choose either the "core" or "complete" pack. The "core" pack is the same as the "complete" pack, however it assumed you have some of the bonus packs installed. If in doubt, download the "core" pack, then if you can't play, download the "depends" pack, which contains the missing files.

All downloads have an MD5 sum available for them if you want to verify your download. Just click on the MD5 link next to the file name to get it.

"Patch" Packs

Patch packs are stripped down downloads that only contain files that have changed from one build to the next. They will only be minor revisions to address any bugs that have been found in Steel Halo.

"Base" Pack - v0.9.1-1

The base map contains all the Steel Halo files, however has the maps stripped out to save space. You can download the maps separately.

"Map" Pack - v0.9.1

The latest version of all the Steel Halo maps. Useful if you already have the main game and just want to grab new maps without downloading everything again.

"Core" Pack ("Base" + "Map" Pack) - v0.9.1-1

If you have all the bonus packs installed for Unreal, then download this pack, it will give you all the Steel Halo content, as well as the latest versions of all the maps.

"Depends" Pack - v0.9.1

If you don't have the bonus packs installed, or realise you're missing some files that you need, then this pack will give you the missing files without the need to download the entire bonus pack.

Great for a clean install! If you've just installed UT2004, then this will give you absolutely everything you need to play Steel Halo. Just download it, put it into your UT directory and play!

"Other" Pack - v0.9.1

A collection of other files that may be needed to connect to a Steel Halo server. Most likely you'll have these, however if you start downloading content in game and would rather do it separately, download and install this pack.
